Which Side Is The Liner On Cricut Vinyl

Which side is the liner on cricut vinyl.

In the photo below you can see the liner peeling away from the iron on design. Cut on iron on vinyl setting. Then position it plastic side down and vinyl side up the more dull less shiny side. The liner side should be the one placed down on the mat.

Generally adhesive vinyl has the colorful vinyl on one side and is backed by a paper carrier sheet that is most often white. It s usually the shiniest side and you use a very sticky mat. Peel back the sticky transfer tape from the liner sheet.

So again that s shiny side down. Place vinyl liner side down onto cricut standardgrip mat. So in the above case you d want to put that iron on vinyl shiny side down on your cutting mat to cut out your mirrored design. It does say to mirror the image.
